Hi! I’m Colleen
My Story
Hi, I’m Colleen—a wife, mom of three girls (two here on earth and one in heaven), clinical therapist, and functional nutrition practitioner who helps women finally get answers for the gut issues that are running their lives.
For years, I worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in psychiatry, trauma, and hospice. I watched patients cycle through medications and treatments that never addressed why they felt so sick. They were doing everything “right” and still getting worse. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was heading straight toward my own crash.
In my 20s, everything fell apart. I was constantly bloated—like full-on “food baby” bloated—paired with sharp stomach cramps, unpredictable digestion, nausea, and pain no one could explain. On top of the gut chaos came chronic exhaustion and anxiety that made it impossible to function. I bounced from specialist to specialist, ruling out cancer, MS, heart issues… only to be told over and over that everything was “normal.” I remember praying for any diagnosis just so I could stop feeling miserable and start getting real help.
Discovering functional nutrition was the turning point. I fought it at first, but once I shifted my diet and lifestyle, everything changed—fast. Within weeks, the bloating, cramping, and constant discomfort calmed down. My energy started to return. My mood steadied. I was able to stay awake in the evenings, cook meals, go out with friends, and function without relying on medications that were never helping in the first place. Even my ADHD symptoms improved, which shocked me.
That experience didn’t just change my health—it changed my life’s direction. It showed me how deeply the gut impacts everything: mood, hormones, sleep, energy, mental health… all of it. And it sparked my mission to help women who feel dismissed, unheard, and stuck finally get to the root of what’s going on in their bodies.
Today, I combine my background in clinical therapy with functional nutritional therapy to offer an approach that actually sees the whole person. I help women understand why their gut is reacting, inflamed, sluggish, or overwhelmed—and what we can do to calm it, repair it, and restore trust in their body.
My work goes beyond symptom relief. It’s about giving you real answers, real support, and real solutions so you can feel like yourself again and show up fully for the life and people you love.
Every woman’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to diving deep, getting curious, and uncovering the “why” behind your symptoms—so you finally get the clarity, validation, and care you’ve been missing.
